Project Points - Introduction

After completing the first exercise on positioning a point, I looked back through the introduction to the chapter and thought again about the kinds of subjects and backgrounds that demonstrate points well.  These could be:
  • An animal in a field
  • A boat or bird on a lake
  • A change in colour or tone in an abstraction
  • The centre of a flower
  • A particular person in a crowd
  • A change in lighting in a small area of an image
  • An isolated building
  • A signpost
  • A rock or boulder in the landscape
  • The eye of something - a statue maybe
I then looked back through images I had taken since starting the course for good examples of prominent points:
